Capture of general data and information (log files)

When you access this website, general data and information are collected and stored in so-called log files of the server. Log files can record the browser types and versions used, the operating system used by the user, the Internet page from which a user accesses our Internet page (so-called referrers), the sub-sites which are accessed via an accessing system on our Internet page, the date and time of access to the Internet page, an Internet protocol address (IP address), the Internet service provider of the accessing system and other similar data and information which serve to avert dangers in the event of attacks on IT systems.

When these general data and information are used, no conclusions can be drawn about the person concerned. The information is required in order to correctly deliver the contents of this website, to guarantee the functionality of IT systems and the technology of this website and to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for criminal prosecution in the event of a cyber attack.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to record, collect and analyse the behaviour of visitors to this website. Among other things, the website from which a person concerned came to this website (so-called referrer), which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed is collected. By analysing user behaviour, we can improve our website and its content and adapt it to the needs of users.

The operating company of Google Analytics is Google Ireland Limited (hereinafter “Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

This website uses Google Analytics IP anonymization. The IP address of the user is shortened within Switzerland, the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This means that the IP address does not have to be referred to a specific person. Under the terms of the order data agreement between the website operators and Google Inc., Google Inc. uses the information collected to compile an analysis of website usage and website activity and provides services relating to Internet usage.

In order to record visitor behaviour, Google Analytics uses cookies and stores them on servers in the United States of America. More information about cookies can be found in this privacy statement (see “Cookies” section).

Isopin AG has entered into a contract with Google Inc. for the processing of order data in accordance with applicable law. Google Inc. may, under certain circumstances, pass on the personal data collected via this website using Google Analytics to third parties, over which we have no influence.

Users of this website can independently determine whether their behaviour on this website is recorded by Google Analytics. For this purpose, we offer a so-called opt-out or renewed opt-in via the following links: Disable Google Analytics. Clicking on the preceding link sets a cookie in the user’s Internet browser that prevents or activates data collection. The storage of cookies must therefore always be permitted in order to use the opt-out link. If the cookie is deleted in the user’s Internet browser, another click on the opt-out link is necessary to deactivate tracking by Google Analytics. Alternatively – and if the storage of cookies is not permitted – the data collection by Google Analytics can be prevented by means of a browser extension (so-called add-on). Further information can be found at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Further information and the valid data protection regulations of Google can be called up under http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and under http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html.

Google Analytics is explained in more detail under this link http://www.google.com/intl/de_en/analytics/.

Vimeo

Isopin AG can integrate Vimeo components on this website. Vimeo is an online video portal, which enables the free and chargeable posting of video clips as well as the free and chargeable viewing, evaluation and commentary of these.

The operating company of Vimeo is Vimeo Inc. in 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

Each time a single page of this website of Isopin AG is accessed, on which a Vimeo component (“Vimeo Video”) has been integrated, the Internet browser used by the user is automatically prompted to download a display of the corresponding Vimeo component from Vimeo. Further information on Vimeo is available in English at https://help.vimeo.com/hc/en-us.

As part of this technical process, Vimeo obtains information about which specific page on our website is visited by the person concerned.

If the data subject is logged into Vimeo at the same time, Vimeo Inc. will recognize which specific page of our website the data subject is visiting when he or she accesses a video. This information can be collected by Vimeo and assigned to the respective Vimeo account of the data subject.

Vimeo will receive information through the Vimeo component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged in to Vimeo at the same time as accessing our website, regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a Vimeo video or not. If the user of this website does not wish to receive such a transmission, he or she can prevent it by logging out of his or her Vimeo account before accessing our website.

Vimeo’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://vimeo.com/privacy, discloses the collection, processing and use of personal information by Vimeo Inc.
